Honestly, he didn't look like he was on anything. He yelled and talked quite fine for someone who "can't breathe". He also claimed he was "claustrophobic" as the reason he couldn't be put in the cop car, yet he was just fine in his own car. It all looked like one big drama act, and I see no reason for the cops to assume it WAS anything but an act.
