I've worked grocery for the last 4 years and have not seen anything out of the ordinary for the last 4 months as far as outtages. Some stuff is out at times like vinegar or something else one week, the next week we'll have vinegar but another item is out of stock. That doesn't mean this can't be directed into another self fulfilling prophecy where I saw absolute retards/lemmings running amok with shopping carts piled high with tp. Oh and the hand sanitizer poachers reselling on ebay.

The above isn't meant to discourage one from having some foodstuffs and various sundries on hand; this is a good idea, but best not left to the last minute when tha pocalypse is tomorrow morning.

The last package of TP that I bought was this past January. Since then, there haven't been any sales advertised at the same time there are coupons available. While there were some shortages in this area during March-June, there hasn't been any particularly bad times. It is definitely not as bad as the lack of .22LR ammo was a while ago.
The package of TP that I opened up yesterday was bought in July of 2017.

There will be shortages if the truckers go on strike as they are being told to do. Also, we've been having trouble keeping beef broth on the shelf, it flies out the door, same for large butterball turkeys the last week or so.

Hoping the truckers wait until Biden ascends the throne and then does their thing in protest to his planned ban on fracking. Let him deal with the shortages and problems that grow rapidly. Trump should not be penalized in his last couple of weeks because of what Biden has promised.

Biden (Harris) will do all of this without the truckers going on strike. There will be shortages of everything as Cameltoe Harris implements her programs. Idiot Joe and Cameltoe will do their best (during their illegitimate reign) to lead us into Socialism/Communism.

Is there something perhaps that you know or anticipate as a trucker that leads you to this?

Yes. I deliver to food warehouses now and then. Mostly Kenneth O. Lester, Associated Wholesale, and PFG.
There are rolling shortages. One week, there is no chili to be found. The next week there is a shortage of coffee. Next will be flour. This virus, or actually the reaction to it, is going to be the everything bubble. Right now it's ammo. Next may be food.
There are issues in mining the phosphorus and potassium that is required for raising vegetables on large farms. Remember, when you see those enormous fields of corn, wheat, etc., there is no compost bin to feed that much soil. They use fertilizer that is mined. Lots of issues are occurring at once.
    Stock up.

Wife (ex-wife) said she couldn't find any TP anywhere today. But in a 15 mile area I know that she didn't hit the ALL 4 Hannaford's, 2 Walmarts, Shaws, Home Depot or Lowes or the 2 IGA supermarkets, or Target.

I have enough TP for the next 2 years. I knew this was going to happen again this fall so I stocked up.

TP is getting scarce here too. They had a ton of one ply septic safe at Lowes but that stuff would be my last choice.

We were able to score some charmin at the grocery but it walmart was wiped clean....
