Yes. But we need to NOT be fooled by the Democrats either.

We (and I speak only for myself since I am a proud card carrying Republican and aren't blind to the stupidity of RINOs) but back to the point... "we" have our own idiots. We have morons who will cut off our nose to spite our face.

I say to everyone in Georgia. GO OUT AND VOTE IN YOUR TWO GOP senators. Now is not the time to 'punish' weak Republicans by boycotting the vote. That's what the Democrats want. Hell, they're putting up FAKE BILLBOARDS, telling Republicans to NOT VOTE to send a message to their Republican RINOs.

But that would be SUICIDE right now.

I'll take TWO weak Republicans in the SENATE (and keep the Senate majority) than GIVE the damned SENATE to the evil Democrats.

    Interesting.
Just tonight, I was reading a "news" article about a lawyer in Florida that was either arrested or indicted for trying to get FL republicans to "change their addresses to GA for a couple of months to help elect republicans in the GA run-off elections.

HIGH level DEMOCRATS were saying they were moving to GEORGIA to vote. The news media makes a big deal out of ONE low level NOBODY lawyer who does the opposite for the Republicans. Get the Media's game? The Republican (who is a nobody) will get arrested and all the headlines. The BIG Democrats who do the same thing won't get punished.

I still say. ANYONE IN GEORGIA, GO OUT AND VOTE! All the people saying to boycott the vote are either mistaken or DEMOCRAT operatives!

I don't see how traveling to Georgia and renting a hotel room or PO box allows you to register to vote. I thought states had pretty strict rules for establishing residency just for that purpose along with other things like employment and eligibility for instate tuition rates.

My guess is that if a state doesn't verify whose ballot is whose, they can get away with it. Just go to the polls and show them you have a mailbox for validation, and they'll let you vote....especially in poling places overseen by Commucrats.

I know in my county (in MD), you have to show something like 6 months of utility bills, or rent, etc. to be allowed to vote. Plus, you can't just walk in on voting day and sign up. There's a cutoff date prior to voting day for registering to vote. No registrations processed, after the cutoff date, until after that voting day is done.

I would then assume if you wanted a legitimate vote that only voters who were registered for the November vote should be allowed to vote in the runoff

You need ID to buy a firearm, you need an ID to buy an alcoholic beverage, you need an ID for so many things but in only a couple of states do you need an ID to vote. Glad I live in ID required Indiana.

These days an ID to vote should be mandatory, otherwise remove ID laws period.

And there were some who complain that it was a hardship to get an ID. Here in firearm loving Indiana an ID, not a drivers license is FREE. And if you can't get to the license branch to get your FREE ID, they will provide FREE transportation for you.

Correct. That one and all the rest after that if they still live in the county.

I don't know how it is in your states but in California, the default drivers license doesn't meet the federal RealID requirements so you can't buy a gun, or fly on an airplane with it. You either bring your passport if you have one or go spend some time at the DMV and get a special "real ID" driver's license.

Apparently they were trying to exploit a GA loophole where if you move to GA by Dec 9th, you can vote in the runoff.

true, but Democrats were 'joking' ???? when they said they would registered as residents in GA. I mean people register at BS addresses all the time. NEVADA had a ton of DEMOCRATS registered as their home being the loading dock of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Uh huh. Also the Starbucks on Las Vegas Blvd had people listing THAT as their address. I don't trust Democrats as far as I can throw them

The Devil went down to Georgia
He was lookin' for some votes to steal
He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind
And he was willin' to make a deal

When he came across this young man
Workin' on ballots and shreddin' some twice

And the Joe jumped up on a the table
And said, "C'mon man, let me tell you what"

I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a Democrat, too
And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you

Now you shred those ballots pretty good son
But give ole' Joe his due
I'll bet a Shredder of gold against your soul
'Cause I think I'm better than you"

The boy said, "My name's Johnny, and it might be a sin
But I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret
'Cause I am the best that's ever has been

Johnny, you fill that shredder up and trash those ballots good
'Cause Hell's broke loose in Georgia and the Democrats deal the cards
And if you win, you get this shiny shredder made of gold
But if you lose, the Ole' Joe gets your soul

Joe plugged in his shredder and said, "I'll start this show"
Smoke rose from his fingertips as his shredder began to glow.
And he shoved those ballots into it's glowing maw and flames started to hiss
And a band of Democrats joined in, and it sounded somethin' like this

    When Joe finished
Johnny said, "Well, you're pretty good ole' man
But sit down in that chair right there
And let me show you how it's done"

The Joe bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat
And he laid that golden shredder on the ground at Johnny's feet
Johnny said, "Joe, just come on back if you ever wanna try again"
"I done told you once, you son of a bitch"
"I'm the best that's ever been"
