In a previous post, instead of the IMG tags, just use the URL tags and leave the picture as a link.
Or you could copy and save the picture, then put it at hobbytent.com then post the picture in an IMG tag from there.

That's how I got all those Bettie Page pictures in the Roadhouse.

Your pic didn't show up on my computer, so that doesn't work either.

Now when I reply this comes up in the text of your quote (-img]http://hobbytent.com/albums/userpics/10003/7/thumb_Battleship_Rock_closer.jpg[/img-)[had to alter], but there is no picture or link on my screen just text. In fact if I put your link in my post unaltered it doesn't show up at all

Are you hotlinking?
I was doing it not knowing that is was considered bad form and stealing bandwidth and possible revenue
If you look it up you'll find more than I can explain
Could be the site you got it from kicked you off
I use Postimage.org for free and they supply the hotlink for forums no problem

Now your posts show up fine on my home computer, but are blank on my phone.

So that's not 100% either.

It's gotta be something with the site....everywhere else I just copy and paste the image. Shows up great phone or home and never goes away...I can go to GlockTalk and look at pics I posted years ago. Can't do that here though...try to do that here and nothing at all happens when I try to paste and the pic will soon disappear if I can get it to post.


Not a problem with the site I'm using to host....I have pics from the site posted on other forums and they're still there and nobody griping they can't see them...just here.

Now that's interesting.....checked my phone to see if it's there...showed up fine and JTHunter's canyon pic shows up on my phone.

How weird...Full Ottos's pics show up on my home computer and not my phone and JTHunter's are on my phone but not my home computer.

Weevil - your pictures of Summer showed up clearly.
BTW, hobbytent was set up by a member here and I am very glad he did ! I uploaded a bunch of pictures I have been "collecting" for over 20 years, many of places that I have been fortunate to visit when I was younger. Some are just ones that I find beautiful and interesting.
Of course, like any website, there are times (like now) that I can't get the site to load.
