BILL WOULD REQUIRE SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE GUN SAFETY TRAINING
After today, it's all historical.
I used to teach Hunter and Firearm Safety classes after school in the classroom and one live fire demonstration on the last weekend the class was held. Upon completion of the classes, the students earned their Hunter Safety Certificates that allowed them to get their state hunting licenses.
When I stopped teaching, I guess no one else was interested in teaching those classes, so it died out in our school. I don't think any other schools had that class.
This is a great bill to pass.
