    Nice to see someone in our government actually trying to advance the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

    And while I agree that if I need an ID to exercise my second amendment right, what is wrong requiring an ID to vote, which is a privilege and not a written right. As someone on the Ammoland site said, if it ok to require an ID to buy a firearm, then why is it restricting to require an ID to vote, unless the idea is to restrict the same people who can't seem to be able to get a FREE ID to vote also restrict their ability to buy a firearm?
