On a recent trip (12/12) to north central IL-ANNOY, two stations just off of I-57 in Tuscola were $2.729 and $2.739.
Two days ago, two Circle K stations in this area (near St. Louis) dropped $0.30/gal. to $2.899 !!

Some stations had been as low as $3.079 a week ago (most were $3.299) when I made a trip from SW IL-ANNOY to central IL-ANNOY where gas was up to $3.269-$3.399. A month ago, those station had been $2.739. Got back to SW IL-ANNOY and the stations here had jumped to $3.499 !!
Part of it is that the gas tax increase that "Jabba" delayed last July went into effect this month. AND there will be another one this coming July.
