    Car technology

Hit a deer 2 weeks into my job with a tractor trailer, the next week driving to work hit another one in my car.
With the technology of cars automatically braking and keeping distance from other vehicles and auto high beam dimming, why can they not have infrared scanners at an angle to scan for deer beyond visual distance at night and flash an alert? Has no engineer thought of this, or is it too expensive to incorporate?

    I've killed 4 with a car and 4 with a rifle.

I stopped hunting deer because I don't want to hit another one with my car.

Actually at least one manufacturer has a forward scanner that can detect deer at night and issue a warning on a heads up display. I believe it is Mercedes but don't quote me.
