Someone once wrote "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
    This is incorrect.

"No honest or honorable man has EVER been corrupted by power, but power is constantly sought after and corrupted by fools, cowards and petty tyrants."
    Redbeard

    Need proof?
After General George Washington defeated the British in the Revolutionary War, he could have become a king.
Which leads to our next quote:
"I did not defeat George the Third of England to become George the First of America."
    George Washington

When our Representative Republic was founded, Washington only agreed to run for President with a steadfast condition he would serve no more than two terms.
This was an unwritten rule, until a Democrat named Franklin Delano Roosevelt took the office.
Once he was gone the 22nd Amendment was added to the Constitution and future Presidents were legally limited to only two terms.

Ever since then, the progressives and communists (wait, is that redundant?) have been trying to tear down and destroy Washington and the Founding Fathers as 'old white men' and 'elitists' claiming their legacy was built with 'slavery' on 'stolen land'.

About time we told these progressive, liberal, communist, ass clowns to Get the Fuck Out.

"The closer to the truth, the better the lie." Isaac Asimov

This quote explains why more people are starting to wake up to the Commucrtas' lies. They have gone so far from the truth, that people are starting to see who they really are.

They are no longer trying to stay close to the truth; they are just purporting one fantasy after another and when they are called out on it, they use another fantasy to support their claims.

They haven't, yet, realized that you can only lie to people for so long before they start to see they've been lied to the whole time. They're building a house of lies...one lie to support another to support another. Pretty soon it's all going to crash.

Quotes attributed to scientist and SYFY author, Robert Heinlein.

A generation which ignores history has no past -- and no future.

If you would know a man, observe how he treats a cat.

Stupidity is the only true capital crime.

Some people talk better when they breathe vacuum.

If it can't be expressed in figures it is not science.

Beware of altruism. It is based on self-deception.

One man's theology is another man's belly laugh.

Stupidity, if left untreated, is self-correcting.
“I have little patience with people who take the Bill of Rights for granted. The Bill of Rights, contained in the first ten amendments to the Constitution, is every American’s guarantee of freedom.” - - President Harry S. Truman, “Years of Trial and Hope”

I would change that last quote to:

Stupidity, if left untreated, is self-perpetuating.
    "Valar morghulis; valar dohaeris."

    Maybe.
It's like the old joke about "celibacy". It corrects itself in one generation. Or at least it did until technology found a way around that.
