Once upon a time when I was in IT, working for a small software company, I was essentially the main contact for one of the company's largest customers. Their IT person wouldn't talk to any other support rep, had to speak to me, because she knew I'd get to the root of her problem quicker than any of our other support staff...yeah, I'm that good in solving tech problems...
At any rate, in our discussions of how one of her users had blown up the database behind the general program, I said to her: Diane, we try to make the program as idiot proof as possible...unfortunately the world keeps building bigger idiots.
Got a giant guffaw from her, quelled her fury, then she sent me the backup of her database so I could fix it.
