Why The Screen Actors Guild Is Striking

There are more than one reason, but this one is pretty high in the ranking:

"....actors have expressed significant concerns with the potential use of artificial intelligence as a substitute for use of a performer's authentic appearance. AI poses an "existential threat" to actors' livelihoods, Crabtree-Ireland said."

While this concern is a reality today, in 1981 it was science fiction.

Written and directed by Michael Crighton, this film was about 40 years ahead of its time.

If you get a chance to watch it; do so. It's a great film in and of itself.

    "Valar morghulis; valar dohaeris."

Commucrats are most efficient at converting sins and crimes to accidents or misunderstandings.-Oswald Bastable

Making good people helpless won't make bad people harmless.

    Freedom isn't free.

"Attitude is the paintbrush that colors our world." TV Series, Haven.

    My Spirit Animal has rabies.

I'd rather be an American than a Democrat.

"If you can make a man afraid, you can control him" Netflix Series, The Irregulars
