    How much of a lag between losing power and the gen coming on?

    I believe that can be set per unit mine is about three minutes.
    Keeps it from turning on and off if it's just a quick little outage
    It will also run a while after power comes back for cooling down
    I noticed no interruption or resetting of timers and appliances when it switched back to the grid
    That was nice

    I've converted to generators using the following kits and they work well. On my Honda generator, I put a petcock in the gasoline line to have a gasoline shutoff. The regulator that comes with the kit has an adjustment screw for using propane or NG. Basically the kit is a spacer between the carb and the air filter with a small hose/port that allows the alternative fuel to be introduced into the throat of the carb.
