Ive tried to recall many who reached out the last couple of days concerning my in-laws in Ukraine. My wife spoke with them this evening. They are huddled in a small house in a town about 2 hrs from kyiv. Yesterday there were 22 people, tonight there are 15. They are debating now if Masha and Sophia should try to make it to Poland. My brother-in-law will stay and try to protect the family if they stay, or will take them to themselves border and return to fight. They have some food, but not very much. Heavy planes are flying nearby and bombs light the sky. They havent slept since it started. No need to respond, just pray, and pray that world leaders do not tolerate this longer than the Ukrainians can hold out.
