    It is just like the 9mm vs the .45cal. Beretta 92 (just to pick one of many) versus the ubiquitous 1911, which do you prefer, since stopping power is shot placement and not really the size of the round. Same with 5.7 vs the 9mm. The results were the same, which do you prefer, and enjoy shooting it.

    I personally have both 5.7x28 and 9mm, and enjoy both and will give up neither. The only reason I carry a 9mm is if I have to use it in approved self defense, I expect to have to turn over the savior to the late arriving police as part of their investigation and I would rather them trash the 9mm versus the very expensive 5.7 savior before (if ever) returning it to me.
