Stevens said the amendment was adopted out of concern that a national standing army might pose a threat to the security of the states. “Today that concern is a relic of the 18th century,” he wrote. I call bullshit here. A standing Army is always a danger when a commucrat is in power as CIC and enough of his chronies are in control of select federal agencies and military posts .
Good luck on repealing the 2nd. It can be done certainly by Article V, 2/3 of both the House and Senate, 2/3'ds of the 50 state legislators. Good luck with that. There isn't even close enough numbers of commucrats and rinos in the state legislatures or House or Senate YET. If the craps can keep importing select groups and putting them into select places, down the road for sure.
