    July 4th Shoot

Had to take full advantage of a chance to celebrate it right
Got a call and before you know it we were setting up

Got in some trap this time

I am way out of practice and missed more than I hit but still a great time

    Last shoot here https://www.gunsnet.net/showthread.p...ay-of-shooting
was way cold this time hot but we were able to follow the shade pretty well and had a nice breeze
Still the barrels got hot kind of quick so set out some targets

Buddy's wife was nice enough to come by with some lunch and then took a few shots (in the sun) before heading back home

Moved the bench into the shade and started flinging lead

Mostly 22's but also some .17 HMR amd 22/250 I'm sure I'm forgetting some
    Bolt action, semi and lever

then some handguns .22, 45.I believe 357 mag and again probably forgetting some

Clouds were building all afternoon, we were able to get all packed up before a decent rain which is needed badly so all in all a good day
Hope everyone had a good 4th

Looks like you had a great time. I've got to get out and do some shooting, too.

    Happy 4th, everyone.

Not quite a year later but almost the same scenario today. Pretty much the only difference was taller corn in the field instead of beans.
Oh and I got to try out my new Girsan MC 312.
My first semi 12 ga. I like it a lot also ran a few through my new bond Arms 9mm derringer

I'm the old fart which is another reason I'm trying the semi besides just wanting another gun
