a GREAT letter from the CEO of Smith & Wesson

As the Democrats try to haul in the CEOs of various gun manufacturers in front of Congress for a Kangaroo Court, saying that they market their guns too well and thus are responsible for mass shootings and crime, I fear of the CEOs crumbling and getting weak in the knees. I think the tide is turning. Gone are the days of Bill RUGER and also the Smith & Wesson board from the 1990s all bending over for the Democrats. If they're smart they will fight back and fight back hard.

This letter is a good start.

So nice to see that, but there is a sad part of me that wonders if that is a real letter and it was actually published for all to see.

Remember that the OLD Smith & Wesson cucked under Bill Clinton. Remember that they gave in to the stupid requests of the Clinton Administration in the vain belief that cooperating with the enemy would give them some sort of cover from the Anti Gun Democrats & Media. They actually LEARNED Their lesson and the NEW heads of S&W are doing much better.

Sure, it is wise to be cautious, and I do share a little of your concern. I think we all do. but we MUST applaud folks when they do the RIGHT THING.

The worst thing we can do is be just cynical and negative about ANY positive news. That gives the wrong message to these people, that WE (the gun owners) don't have their backs when they stand up to the anti gunners. We MUST back our own people up.

Let's hope that Mr. Smith's letter lights a fire in/under other manufacturers.

Looks like people are finally realizing that you can't appease the SJW's (Socialist Juvenile Whores).
Doesn't matter if we're talking about a pink and purple haired freak on the street or the myriad of ass-clowns currently in congress.
It's all the same degeneracy being fueled by the twisted logic of moral and ethical superiority.

Tolerating their idiotic antics is a sign of weakness, which increases the level of stupidity.

Giving in to their incessant badgering is a surrender, and will only escalates the demands.

Any apology is deemed an admission of guilt, which 'justifies' their attacks and calls for more retribution and retaliation.

It's time to start calling them out on the lies, propaganda and false narrative that is the basis of the socialist left's movement.

    Thanks!

And Tank, it comes from my upbringing teaching me to trust but verify.

It is nice to see a firearm manufacturer standing up to the bullies who want to hold them responsible for a person misusing their product. That is like holding the gas company responsible for someone blowing up their house for the insurance money. Car companies, you name it, they want to sue.

I follow the same rule, Trust be Verify.
I just get sick of the black pillers, aka the eternal pessimists who just see everything as inherently bad. When we're fighting for gun rights in a place where we're outnumber three to two in California, we get all those guys who mock us for FIGHTING. They just mock us for being where we are, rather than praise us for fighting even though we get defeated. That's a lousy way to treat one's allies. Not saying you're one of those guys, but that is why I warn folks to always BACK THEIR TEAM when they make a play. I've spoken to a lot of middle of the road politicians, who complain that pro gunners slam them for giving in to the other side (deservedly so) but NEVER have their backs when they defy the anti gunners and come under the wrath of the Democrats and the Media. We can't be fair weather friends to ANYONE who stands up to the anti gun mob. We have to be honorable and reliable allies to those who take a chance and fight the good fight. I know too many bad faith gun owners who just want to be grumpy old men.

LOL. That was a concession they made with the CLINTON administration in order to keep the CLINTONS from attacking them with the full force of the Democrat Jack booted thugs.
