None of this would have happened if they had had reasonable knife controls in place.
I'm sure the knives used were ghost knives. Mail order knives must be regulated and should only be sold through registered dealers. Buyers should have KOID* cards to purchase.
It's events like this that could have been prevented IF appropriate controls and laws had been in place.

They found one of the perps dead, and his wounds do not appear to be self inflicted.
When I first read about this the story had pics of the perps and they had been whitewashed, ie photoshopped to look like white instead of native indian as they are.
