Question Was the Senate also stalled.?

I have not heard anything about the senate and that Assault Weapon Ban, the House ran though. Did the senate stop it, or is it on Hold. Paul

In order to make it to the president’s desk, the legislation needs at least 10 Republican votes to bypass the filibuster process.

My guess is they won't push it in the Senate until after the midterms. If they cheat their way into a clear majority, they'll find the necessary rinos to pass it. If in the minority come next year, they'll push it lame duck and hope to by hook or crook find 10 rinos to get them over the top. And there's a few who looked relatively solid for a time, who now seem to be wavering...Kennedy being one.
