    Thumbs up

Since I've gotten rid of all my AK clones but kept a number of SKS I might be interested in one of those. Looks like the Chinese AK designed drum that you load from the back and wind when you need it. From what I've read that design is preferred over the Romanian/Russian that loads from the top. Wonder who makes it, Korea?

It looks similar to the Korean made Chinese pattern AK drums.

Do not see how 922 matters when it comes to the SKS.

As long as the SKS is in the orignal stock configuration one evil item added should not affect the parts count.

There is some discussion on this thread http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=83&t=58374 about the duckbill mags being illegal so I thought this mighr be as well. I'll admit there are many things about firearms laws that I do not understand.

I personally would not be concerned. I use my fixed mag, if I wanted high capacity I have other options.

I saw a drum like this, at a gun show back in 1997-8. It looked like a Chi-com that had the AK feed lips cut off, and the SKS duckbill welded on. If I remember right, it was $99, while an AK drum was $29. If it was a fixed mag, I doubt that it would effect 922 (as long as you didn't have a seperate pistol grip, folding stock, threaded barrel, bayonet, etc.); but if you have the ATI or Tapco stock, you should have the proper number of USA parts on the gun.
