I already own very little. My house isn't really mine, as I pay property tax (rent) to the county for the privilege of living in a reasonably nice neighborhood. To be able to drive my cars, I pay taxes for license plates, which also serve additional revenue if I accidently violate one of the million road laws.
So in essence the state already owns me. Unfortunately for them if they try what is in the article in my area, there is a pesky line in the Constitution of the United States of America which would be a major problem.
That is why the Commucrats are so intent on getting rid of that "pesky line in the Constitution." Their agenda is to eliminate the Constitution altogether.

To give you an idea about my neighborhood, one of my neighbors approached me about setting up and knowing where a crossfire zone would be in the event that "civil" disobedience tries to march through. They might try to eliminate the constitution but with neighborhoods like mine here in Indiana, they might not want to try and enforce it.
