Just picked up a S&W Equalizer from the gun shop today (had to wait 7 days before I could pick it up). Summer's coming and since I prefer a revolver for CCW, I figured a revolver would be too bulky to carry under light clothing so I wanted a slim semi to carry IWB. I did a lot of research and figured the Equalizer would be the best choice.
It's slim and light weight and the grip is angled so that it comes up to point of aim naturally. All three sight dots come up to the spot I'm aiming at without having to adjust my arm.
All the buttons are located within easy reach. It comes in two versions: one without a separate thumb safety, and one with the separate thumb safety. I went with the additional safety as I'm planning on carrying this at 1 o'clock IWB. (I like the added safety for obvious reasons.)
I'll clean it and the head to my brother's farm and see how it shoots. If it shoots as well as the reviews say it does, I'll be a happy man.
$530 OTD.
Here's the IWB holster I ordered.
Here's a couple of articles on it.
