I heard about this tragic incident and commented on it in the Paving the Road to Civil War thread, but this will get more traffic here.
One thing that should be clear to everyone, Commucrats included, is that gun laws won't stop gun crimes. Any Gun-Free Zone is just a guaranteed location for a murderer to unleash his hatred with no interference from those on the scene.
IF anyone really wants to stop this, then allow teachers, administrators, custodians, etc., to carry firearms. That way, they'll be the first responders and be right there on the scene when shit happens. No murderer will be given free reign to do his, or her, worst.
Outlawing, or further restricting guns, will be as effective as outlawing illegal drugs. (Commucrats, how's that working out for you all?)

It makes me sick when gun grabbers, democrats and the idiot President scream for "more gun laws" and "ban assault weapons" (whatever they are) each time something like this happens.
Newsflash: Murder is already illegal (or, banned). What is another law supposed to accomplish? Even if the shooter's EXACT rifle (serial number) was "banned", does anyone think the shooter would have said "hmmm I wanna shoot up this school but my rifle is banned, I may as well go back home"?
Then, all the talking heads discuss "more school security". What everyone should be thinking is "mass shootings never used to happen, now they do. WHAT CHANGED?"
Instead of figuring out the cause of the problem, they just want to slap a bandage over it.
Lastly, why should 300 million plus gun owners with some 20 million AR-15 rifles be penalized for the actions of a very few. And, where the hell were the NICS check people who gave a "proceed" to a purchaser with known, documented mental issues?
It's bad enough that "the system" punishes all of us because of the actions of a very few, but they can't even competently do the job they're supposed to do!
At least (for what it's worth), this latest shooting looks genuine as opposed to Sandy Hoax...

In a news conference the presidents fabulous press secretary refused to answer the question about Biden banning and then confiscating all AR-15 style rifles. I guess if they want a real blood bath then try taking weapons from people exercising their constitutional rights to have them and using them for the exact reason that constitution was written for. I read the response to the article published on FoxNews and was amazed to read people openly talking about a confiscation attempt leading to bloodshed.
And all seemed to agree with what Roger said above and I have always preached, making murder illegal doesn't stop the murders, so making more law just shows the insanity of the law writer.
