Savage Launches New 1911 Pistol Family in .45 ACP and 9mm
After today, it's all historical.
My question would be, why? The 1911 design has gone through, pretty much, every design nuance possible, so this pistol isn't really anything new and has very little to offer the public.
Plus, there are a lot of great 1911's that sell for less than $1,350+.
Other than the company wanting to say they offer a 1911, I can't see much of a reason for Savage to offer this to the public.
But, they've decided there is a reason, so I wish them all the good luck possible.
