Sorry for my flipant responce yesterday. I was too excited about gunsnet being up I guess (or drunk). Anyhow, I like the rifle. The contrasting colors are cool - it's kinda like haveing the crown trim painted in an offsetting color.

It's... Interesting. It looks fine, but the flash hider kind of throws off the lines. It's really the first thing the eye is drawn to in that picture.
I got to ask. Why would you put a Pig on the end of a 16" barrel? The whole reason for the Noveske Pig is to direct blast forward and create back pressure on SBR's. And it weighs 1/2 pound! I would think it would create a lot of barrel harmonics causing change in POI.

You know what they say about beauty. The Flaming Pig does confuse me, though...
I like the rifle. but I would loose the muzzle device. It would probably look alright on a pistol or SBR build. but it just looks awkward on that one. That and the extra weight hanging on the end can’t be very desirable at the range.

There's nothing ugly about that.
The only thing I would do is ditch the Noveske Pig. I love that brake, but only on 11 inch or smaller barrels. Just too large for that long barrel.

Yeah I was going to remove it but ....I like the odd configuration plus I think Its stuck ....?
That's one expensive brake to get stuck! Why not try the Tromix shark brake or something? I want to do that. It's aggressive, but not too large. I really dig the Noveske, it's just it needs to be butted up against a rail on a 10.5 inch shorty for me.

Me too, I have 3 pound hammers, 5 pound hammers, 8 pound hammers, torches, hacksaws, vises, large honking pipe wrenches...shucks I'd even do it for free. Those who told you it was ugly speak true but they did it with love.
