This picture I saw in a museum in Florida years ago. For some reason it always stuck with me and it took me a while to find it online. Actually, I found it accidentally and posted it here. Vickrey was always interested in shadows and many of his paintings always highlighted shadowing.

Did the New Year's Eve bon fire last night.
Started before sundown so there would be a good bed of coals by dark.
Had another pile of wood from felled trees and cut branches almost as big as the burn pile.
Stuff that has been cut back around the house and to keep the road and trails cleared.
We kept tossing more on it all night as it burned down, didn't want the fire to get too big.
Temp got down to the high 20s so it made for a good night and now we'll have a big pile of ash to fertilize the front field.
We see shipping containers everywhere.
They're on trains, trucks, even in the back of Walmart parking lots.
These things come from all over the world...
Ever seen one and wondered where it came from or what's inside?...
So the next time you see a line of them on rail cars going who knows where?

Especially with the news stories commenting on the "interception" of young, military age males from SYRIA and even a large number of mainland Chinese (CihComs) coming across the southern border.
The actions (or inactions) of Slow Joe's administration is letting in an untold number of "sleeper cells", allowing the next "9/11" that will be even bigger and more deadly.
