Watching Yamoto again(japanese DVD) and then The great war of Archimedes, another Yamoto film. Just read an excellent book on kindle called Japanese Destroyer Captain by Capt. Tameichi Hara. He was there in the formation when we bombed and torpedoed the Yamoto to death during the last final gasp of the Japanese Navy. He started out in destroyers and was in command of a cruiser Yahagi on that last sortie.
