    Thanks for posting.

Only had time to skim the article, and it did mention a price difference with no specifics...

Academy Sporting Goods in town has Winchester 200 rnd. boxes of 5.56 in 62gr. M855 or 55gr. M193 for 119.00.
Their 500 rnd. boxes are 299.00, so this puts the average price at .60 per round and it's relatively plentiful

Now, take into account that IF they have any 6.5 Grendel in stock (which is more the exception than the rule) it starts at 34.99 for 20 rnds.
Same for 6mm ARC or 6.5 Creedmoor, so the average price is 1.75 per rnd.

I've literally seen grown men find 6 or 8 boxes of these on the shelf, squeal like a little girl, then rake every one of them into their shopping cart.

So there may be a significant difference in ballistics; better ft. lbs. of energy / X # of yards, but if you can't get ammo or have reloading components?...
That rifle is a high dollar club.

    Some other prices:
44 Mag and 45 long colt are running 64.99 for 50 rnds.

Have my Grandfathers Winchester 1886 chambered in .38-56
Last ammo I found on line was over 5.00 per round!

Still have 2 old boxes of original factory loads and a bunch of empty cases.
Really need to get some black powder and start casting bullets...
