The gunfire sounded suppressed: had a 'tack-thump' report.
Trump was looking to his right; after the first report he puts his hand up to his right ear then ducks.
There is a second and third report, evenly spaced.
This is followed by multiple reports (five to seven more) in rapid succession.
From the point of injury and the direction he was facing, it would appear the shooter was off to Trump's right and firing parallel to the attendees on the stage.
No one directly behind him or to his left appears to have been hit, despite multiple rounds discharged.
As Trump was getting on his feet under the Secret Service meat shield, someone sounds off 'shooter down'.
Now the news is reporting one attendee killed, one seriously injured and shooter dead.
Would like to see the two collateral's seating location to determine actual position of shooter.
Pray for Trump.

News from Trump family is he is doing ok.
Still no official word but appears shooter was on a rooftop just outside the venue, approximately 130 yards out. For Trump supporters it is a good thing the guy was a bad shot. 130 yards is easy for most of us who practice.
Sadly it appears that a bystander wasn't so lucky and per an interview with a doctor who tried to save him took a round to the head doing massive damage.
This could be a parallel to the road to civil war thread.

Some punk 20yr old kid supposedly steals daddy's gun, then some how manages to get within 150 yards....with a rifle...then gets off a head shot that just misses by fractions of an inch.....yeah right.
Yeah the shot missed, but just barely.....I'm having a hard time believing a punk ass kid that stole daddy's gun is going to be able to make a shot like that, even if they did let him get that close. More like punk ass kid as a distraction and fall guy, while a pro takes the headshot from the grassy knoll.
