    So I moved to Florida

Finally got out of the socialist state of Oregone and moved just NW of Orlando. I have yet to go join Orlando Gun Club which is 5 minutes away but wanted to see if there are any outdoor places that one can legally and safely shoot. I am not used to not have hill backstops as most mountain ranges here are 20-30 feet elevation (he chuckles).

Additionally, any places, shops, buyings-selling sites you wanna share appreciated. Long live Liberty and Constitutional carry.......
    Thanks in advance

I'm also heading to FLORIDA eventually. CA is a lost cause. Even our republican party in the state are losers. They're weak and I've been to the party committee meetings. We have tons of geriatric people in their 90s who think that America is back in the 1980s when we could co-exist with the crazy Democrats.

Are you worried about the humidity affecting your pew pews???

I'm sorry for you. I have a lot of people down there. I went down one summer, it's like living in hell. SO freaking hot and humid you sweat walking from your air conditioned car to the air conditioned house. Plus the drivers down there are complete ass holes.

Been to FL twice in the summer, once in Miami in August, once in Orlando in either late July or August...the heat and humidity are god-awful. The only relief is about 3pm each day when there is a sudden downpour of rain, cooling things off for perhaps an hour or so, and then it's god-awful again until later in the evening. The nights were pleasant, however.

Now if only we could move FL politics to the upper mid-west...

It has been 21 years since I was down there ('03) and I hated the heat and humidity. If you don't have an EXCELLENT dehumidifier in your storage areas, within weeks, shoes have mold, any natural fiber clothing (cotton, linen) smell moldy, metals are corroding/rusting. Nowadays, with the severity of storms and the arrogant stupidity of the drivers, insurance costs have gone stratospheric. Mortgage costs and housing prices are equally high.

hey, yes, humidity is always a concern, lots of lil packs in the ammo and safe. You will love being in a state where people have the same ideals as you, for the most part. I left kalifornia in 92 because they kept taking my money

agreed the heat sucks, the people here are amazing but just like a new congressman going to DC, something happens to their brains when they get behind the wheel. I love the constitutional carry and most everything Desantis does, My neighbors are awesome and invited me over to check out the AR inventory and wall hanger with DJ Trump image etched on it. Orlando has an old style flea market on 10-20+/- acres, grocery stores have BOGO on beer and wine without jacking up the original prices. The importation of numerous cultures is most definitely reflected in driving etiquette. Rules of the road are that there are no rules

BWAHHAAA Love the last part! Yeah if you were living in CA I don't blame you. Like Oswald said if only we could get people like Desantis running things in the upper midwest....... I remember one time after flying into Tampa, I'm merging onto the highway right outside the airport, I'm trying to merge, and I swear to the lord, this friggin lady would speed up when I tried to pace my self into traffic then slow down as I did and back again, like she didn't want me to get on the highway, I could swear she was laughing...... My brother in law and sister live down there, he said doesn't use turn signals because it's a sign of weakness LOL

Lifelong Floridian here, and I'm 75.
Grew up in South Florida, which eventually became one long city/suburb for 75 miles along the coast, from Jupiter to Miami.
Moved to the country, rural NE Florida in 1995.
We have 5 acres in a wooded area, and it's legal to shoot on your own property in Florida but I go across the line into Georgia to a wildlife management area that has a nice range.

Heat? Right now, at noon, it's 95. A little cooler than past days, yesterday it was 100 in the shade. I don't have device to measure humidity, so have no clue. Probably somewhere around 90%.

If you're in the NE, isn't that near St. Augustine?
We have a family friend in the Ocala area and, until he got too old, my Dad and stepmom lived in Naples.

I love Florida. There is a lot to do there. If you decide you don't like it, move to Tennessee.
