After the last 2 and only springfield pistols I bought I'm not willing to risk it again.. Bought 2 brand new Springfield Range officer compacts in 9mm for me and the mrs. Jammamatics at the beginning, only slightly less jammamatics after a couple times at the range. Imagine taking your Carry permit renewal with a gun that jams or stove pipes every other round. Talk about pissed. Springfields supposed to be so wonderful and quality.. I'd put two jennings up against the ones I have.

I was quite surprised myself. It was probably 5,6,7 years ago. Maybe they require certain ammo. I would've have thought out of the box winner for anything with a springfield name on it.
