I got a tiny Taurus .380 that I cant hit even the target with... My son was here and he was afraid to shoot it, he thought it would come apart. I cant carry a bigger gun, where would I put it, anyway hopefully I can get some practice with it.

Some helpful hints and tips would be welcome.

I built a 6.5 Grendel 18" upper. Need to get the dies and start reloading it. The ammo is expensive and hard to find! I reload 6.5x55, and 5.56. As for pistols I got a .40S&W M&P, and a P64.

    Nice broomhandle, mr mitch.

I'm not for sure how long gunsnet was down, but it seems like decades.

    Still, I completed my micro-arsenal.

    I currently have 2 22lr's, 2 9mm pistols, 2 12 gauges, and 2 AR15's.

I'm quite content with my humble little collection.

Unless you are going to roll your own gun busting, tree wrecking, suicide loads. I would save the money you were going to spend for porting it and buy a case of 38 special and 357 magnums instead.

I was thinking about the porting for my wife.
Maybe I'll just let her shoot it a few times first and then decide.

No. I don't have the equipment to roll my own.
I'll probably keep it stocked with Federal 125gr JHP's

I found a 10-22 NIB for 175. Picked up a Glock 21 nib cheap, and a Norinco AK.

3 M1 Garands and a shitload of ammo from the CMP. Two of them were field grade Springfields, one was a woodless Winchester. I just got a 7.62 Nato barrel., operating rod, and stock for that one. Going to send it off for rebearreling and a new park job. I was also really pleased with the other two field grades. One looked really nice with almost all the finish remaining, but its barrel is a bit worn out. Shoots decent, but nothing spectacular. I'll probably buy a new barrel for that one. The other looks a little more beat up, but the barrel is better. That one is an awesome shooter. At least as good as the service grade I already had.

Also picked up another AR lower to go with the extra .22LR upper I had so I wouldn't have to swap them.

Why would your wife need porting? Don't most already have a bunch of... oh, N/M.

I horse traded for a Saiga 12. It actually makes shooting a shotgun fun. I dragged it around on my unsuccessful turkey hunts this year and loved every minute of it.

Bought a Ruger LCP as my new daily carry weapon. I can't really carry every day because my job wont allow it. But when I can, I do.
