I didn't see a way to back order. How long ago did you get yours?

I'd say five days or less. I really like it. I only have one single point sling but it came with two connections. One with the HK hook (I leave it on my AR pistol) and one strap only (I leave it on my AK pistol). It's the Condor model you see on the same web page but I didn't get it from them. If you order the VM and the Condor from them you might want to check to see if you get the two quick connections like I did. If that matters to you anyway. They have a phone number on their website. Maybe just call them and see how long it will be.

The slot is 23mm wide by 16.5mm high and my Romy slings are 36mm wide. It will but not flat. Definitely use the hook or a ring.

I can't. The plate is only 3mm thick and it's the same width as the receiver so I really don't feel any difference. I like the fact that it's an easily reversable mod that doesn't have to stay with the gun.

Chk out my rig though. I used some hardware off an old versipod that was sitting in a box. Its push button quick detach, and the whole think unscrews and comes off in a couple secs.
