Tokyo gun stores go on strike to protest stricter possession laws

An organization of gun stores in Tokyo went on a two-day strike on Dec. 4 at all of its 18 member stores to protest stricter controls on owning hunting guns that it says have devastated sales.

On the morning of Dec. 4, the 18 stores posted notices at their storefronts reading "On Strike!" The organization says that sales are over 50 percent down at all stores.

I figured they didn't have guns for a long.

I had no idea there were gun shops in Tokyo, of all places.
