I took my 1911 out yesterday

I took my Wilson Combat CQB out for 100 rounds yesterday. I was feeling fluish and was a bit shakey but still kept em all in the black at 25 yards. at 10 yards I put 2 mags into the guys fist on the hostage situation target.

It reminded me why I love this pistol. My friend had a 40 S&W with a polymer frame (It wasn't a M&P, might have been a sigma. I couldn't hit shit with the long ass double action trigger that was on it.

When I got home I had a new american rifleman with an article on the 1911 used in the winning of the medal of honor, it read like an advertisement.

Long live the 1911 .45 ACP!

Oh, you went shooting with it. From the title I thought you killed it.

lol, I still havent found anything that feels as good or solid in the hand as the 1911. I know that is a matter of personal preference but for me nothing else feels quite right

I have to agree. I have a 9mm that is fun to shoot, but the 1911 in .45 is a pleasure to shoot. It kicks more, but it is a powerful kick vice the snap of other guns. I fired a .44 mag for the first time about a month ago, it flipped more than kicked, no pleasure in that for me at all.

    Hope you feel better quick.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

I agree with you the 1911 feels so natural in the hand.

The 1911 points well for me and I like the trigger.

The 1911 has more combat time than any of the others have in the chow line. LOL
