The 1908's were the best times...

    I gotta admit....the 80's were fuckin' great.
    Long live Reagan....

The music was good...the booze flowed...the parties were awesome...the girls were hot....

I mean seriously, they were the best times in my life.......
I had more sex and partied so hard back then I'm surprised I didn't die from it...

Are you sure about 1908? Reagan wasn't born until February 6, 1911. LOL!!!

    Talking

I loved 1908! I remember slamming away with this tune blasting on the phonograph:

The pen is mightier than the sword, but only when you're shoving it through your enemy's throat.

Believe it or not, but I knew Mark and helped him write the simple lyrics to this song when we both lived in Vegas. We lost touch when he went to Cali.
Life is funny. I went in the army instead.
His band eventually died out anyways...but still.

I went through my Divorce in 1992, a friend I hung out with played Warrant 24/7 so when I think of Warrant I think of an early 90's band... I believe they only had one 80's album.

I tend to remember stuff from High School days in terms of a block of time.
    Then there was everything after.
I could kick myself in the ass for losing touch with Mark.

For me songs bring back memories of things I've done or experienced, it's odd how I can place myself at an exact moment in time just by hearing a song.

Yea I agree, the 90's were great for music too (Grunge) it was like a rebirth of rock. And yea we were all 20+ years younger, that helps

I tend to listen to alot of diverse music, I would say the 70's seem to have the best music overall.

Maybe I should have added this.

If he served in the military, I thank him for his service.
