Nassau County, on Long Island, New York, enacted an ordinance which bans handguns in non-traditional colors, such as pink. The ordinance declares such firearms to be “deceptively colored.”

Blasted lap-top won't load the story. There goes the lady's market. The NRA's legal team and the gun industry needs to pursue this in court and put an end to this back door gun grabbing.

Wouldn't the color of the firearm be a first amendment thing? After all, buying a firearm in a non-traditional color is more a statement than it is just firearm ownership!

    Heh, LOL.

The rest of the article says that the law was struck down because it stepped on the toes of the state licensing law.
The state law says any non-prohibited gun may be licensed and will be respected in all county's and makes no mention of color.

For those of you with laptop deficiency
This is just my opinion and it's entirely correct.
