What is funny is when I read the title (before clicking on it) I wondered if it ends in a KB.... The internet can be so predictable.

"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time; the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them. ... Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever."--Thomas Jefferson

I've had Glocks for several years and carried the infamous .40 on duty. Never missed a shot and certainly didn't kaboom.
And according to the armorer, I can break a ball bearing.
I know it has happened but you can find anything from 1911's to XD's that have kaboomed.

    Very funny.

I saw a Llama 1911 fall apart at the range, pins and springs all over.

true, all guns can and will fail, but glock deserves the extra ball busting for being too good to admit they have a problem and address it.

Don't we have to first determine Glocks KB more then other makes? I understand the rep but is there really data to support it?

I have put about 2k down the barrel of my G23.I use a Stormlake barrel with a supported chamber and I even shoot reloads. No issues to date.I guess if I did use the factory barrel I could be at risk of a KB.I have not seen any data that supports that a Glock will KB more often than other pistols.
