Interesting read, my own father who was Cherokee boxed golden gloves and played AAA ball for the Senators farm team but gave that up to join the Army only to end up in Korea where he was wounded badly ending his hopes to play professional ball. It's sad that this nation loses it's finest at such a young age to such a worthless enemy...
