    Hidden treasure

Had to clean-out the stuff in the basement last week due to a water leak and discovered a stash of 1K+ rounds of 8 X 57 I'd forgotten about years ago. Early 40's Turk. Shiny and in nice shape........some's on two-piece nickeled clips too.

Oh, kind of like Christmas all over again! So is there a rifle to use this new-found-ammo?

    Yep...

I stacked it deep when it was cheap. However, now that I have my eyes fixed, I can no longer see the rear sight, especially a Mauser sight, but can see the front sight and target clearly.......Even pistol sights are tought to see......chris3

Get a Merit Optical Aattachment to stick on your glasses. That should help give you a rear sight back. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=8...CAL_ATTACHMENT
