    Newbie From Kansas...

Recently joined the site and did not find a "newbie/introduction" forum, so I firgured this was as good as place as any.

My name is Ted, I do heating and air and am into guns, 4x4's and photography. Went through a divorce a couple yrs ago and had to sell my guns during that time and have been working on gaining the collection back.

Here is a pic of my old AK-47, 7.62 x 39 before I converted it to be a little more tactical:

Here it is after the mods and a pic of my old XD-45:

Here is a picture of my new XD-45 that I recently picked up at a steal of a deal:

Here is the AK-47 I just ordered yesterday...which I plan on modifying like my old one:

And I have this mossberg 500A as well:

Well, that is me in a nut shell...look forward to being a part of the forums here.

Welsome aboard! I have almost the Same .45 as my Nightstand gun...

I have a 5" Berral and an earth tone frame. Where did you have the grip stipled like that?

Nice score on the XD. I admit I like the looks of the first AK , printerman just takes it to the extreeeeeeme. Oh, and
"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time; the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them. ... Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever."--Thomas Jefferson

Thanks...man I have to meet this Printerman!!! A friend of mine took this XD, new and had it stimpled, 3.5 lb trigger job done. polished barrel, duracoated slide and melted slide to round edges, truglow trintium sights and then sold it to my boss for $900 last year. my boss decided to buy a kimber ultra carry 2 and a Sprinfield TRP 45...so he sold me this XD for $350. I felt like a bandit!

That's because you were a bandit!
The only way you could have been more so is if you had rode out of town wearing a sombrero having knocked-up his daughter.
Excellent deal. Now stop putting stuff on your AK's.
    Glad to have you here.
This is just my opinion and it's entirely correct.

his daughter is way too young. Thanks for the welcome....I know many like the traditional look, I prefer the tactical. In the end....they're all AK's.
