So, when is the last time that Glock....

Actually INNOVATED? The last time I can think of where they changed anything in there action was when they went from 3 pins to 2 pins.

If it works, dont fix it.

Doesnt mean they cant keep the glock line going, while doing some other more inventive weapons too.

I'm glad that gun manufacterers continue old models. Otherwise there would be no 1911.

It's like the AK, there ain't much to change about one.

Well they did just go to the Generation four with the removable backstraps but I guess that's not really innovative, just copying what the competitors are doing to meet market demand. I guess it's not that easy to come up with something new when your original design pretty much set the standard and brought about pretty much every other polymer framed pistol made since then. Where do you go from here?

Guess I'll have to get one eventually. Shot a friend of mine's once(9mm) don't know the model#, just didn't do it for me. 1911's I'm hooked. revolvers? I have one. I'm on a kick here all of a sudden. Love my GP100 and starting to look for more revolvers.

I think they could give it a new grip more in common with western handguns.

Maybe, but I like the grip angle on the Glock.

Would be nice if Glock would make a carbine.

I like the grip angle on my Glock. I hate the shape of the grip. If I had regular 17 or 34 instead of a 17L I'd have already done the Acraglass, belt sander, bedliner trick to mine, and screw the resale value.

    Lightbulb

Frankly they can barely keep up with demand on what they already make. That's probably they have done little in innovation.

When's the last time that Kalashnikov innovated anything for the AK? He hasn't because he got it right the first time.

    Just like Glock.

Glock? If you think they're bad my 1911 is going on 100 years with just a few updates....

What does demand for current production have to do with new design?

If the design group is busy with current product; then there are problems which Glock doesn't have...

I think they have lots of room to improve in the areas of grip ergonomics and the feel of their triggers. If they would just offer a factory option for a steel trigger that would be a nice improvement.

Neither will titties. It's the woman attached to 'em that gets all pissy.
