    The .460 S&W Mag. cartridge used a rimmed case. Typically not the most desireable in a semi-auto with a box magazine. Just my $0.02.

    Totally true but not unheard of. examples: 7.62x54R, 303 British, just 2 of the most common ones. and both of them fed from box magazines trough "few" wars.

    Dude, I went to the range this morning and picked up a few hundred casings of 223, 45, 40, etc.

    I need to start reloading soon. No one picks up the brass in tobyhanna but me.

    Yeah if you stand on my porch and look over the pool @ 11oclock and then If you were to walk 500-600 yards you would come to the MTSA its a private range. I am not a member anymore it cost too much and mostly used by LE that dont pick up brass

    The 460 would be a very useful cartridge... pity there ain't left all that tyrannosaurs around...
