Scored a nice gun surplus piece

Picked up a great condition Mosin Nagant surplus shipping crate at a Show, one of those big green ones that hold like 20 of em?

Gonna put it into my man cave as a coffee table. Im thinking about taking the lid off and on the inside making a gun scene like what you see on the cover of Guns and Ammo. For the weapon ill prolly try a deactivated rifle for sale. Id like a 1903, Garand, or maybe even a Sten or Thompson.

Anyways, then Im gonna put a plexiglass sheet over the top so all can see while sitting their drink on it.

Anybody know a place that sells old deactivated WW2 guns?

Ive got one as well, built like a tank!
Thats a good idea on a coffee table though, gotta remember that.
As for deactivated weapons for show, I think you could save a ton of money but just stocking it with Mosin's!

I bet they are the same cost as the non firing versions!

Haha by jimmy your right. Only reason I wasn't wanting to use a functioning weapon was for security reasons, but I forgot I was wanting to install a safe door on the cave anyways lol
