If you are talking about the second picture down, the one with the sailors, I like those stocks as well. I could talk my wife into an SKS if they had a stock like those! She would never believe that a rifle with wood like that could be "evil".

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Other than them throwing rifles around with bayonets attached? I like to watch them to this, but I still think the people that do this are not right in the head!

Exactly! Sweet looking stuff. My first AK build I used an Ironwood laminate stock set, it is beautiful!

Epic fail ltorlo64! Two of the weapons have no buttplates. All of them have tape around the stock wrist and forearm / handguard area. These guys must really beat the poop out of them is what I get from seeing those stocks.

Great pics. You don't see the Albanians all that often. I really like those laminated stocks. What SKS is in the last two pics with the through the butt sling attachment? Reminds me of a German Mauser. The helmet the guy is wearing makes me think Poland.

I think they are East German. http://www.tridentmilitary.com/EG-Uniforms.htm Here you go if you follow this link you will see another image of an East German Soldier holding an SKS. The wording on the sleeve is identical to the image Who's posted.

Missed the missing buttplates but I did see the tape. I thought the tape was to provide a better grip, like on a bat, so I didn't think much of it. I hope it is not holding the stocks together!
