I can only imagine that chinese .223 AKs have the same mag well as the 7.62 version. The receiver said 5.56.

I had two Saiga-223 rifles and before conversion I could lock in a 7.62 mag without any problem.I had the first one converted into an AK-100 series and 7.62 mags would fit still but the 74 version that used galil mags would no longer accept the 7.62 mags.

I saw that and didn't have the heart to tell the seller that he had a 7.62x39 mag in his .223 rifle!

For what he is asking, that AKS-223 should come with at least 10 Poly Tech .223 mags!
