    Got a 1860 Colt...

Cabelas had them on sale for $199 with free shipping so I picked up the competitor to my 1858 Remington

The gun syncs up well, the cylinder mates well to the chamber, and the trigger is feels great.

These guns are a bargain at $199

Sweet. I got the 1858 Army. They are fun, and not too bad of a price.
Trying to get on the no fly list, one post at a time.

I still have the 1858, I sold my 1860, I' really want a 1862 I always thought the 1860 had the better feel compared to the 58.

The 1860 is sleek and sexy, but the 1858 is stronger.

As far as looks and feel go, the 1860 is very hard to beat.

    Nice gun! You'll love it.

Nice!! Beautiful gun. I prefer the steel frams over the brass, simply because the steel frame will not loosen up over time. Did you make the loading stand? They make it easier to load for sure.
I had a 58 Remington yrs. ago and loved it. The only problem it had was spent percussion caps hanging up in the frame. No big deal unless the natives are attacking.
There's no problem an AK can't solve...........

Congrats!! That's a great price on a great revolver.

I find that the 1860 and the 1851 (same grip angle) point the best of all the cap and balls.

I have one like that and a couple of the "Sheriff" mid-length barrel models. They are a lot of fun to shoot. Got them on sale from Cabelas too
