    The Gun porn thread!

Here is a few AKM’s I’ve been working on. They were both hand selected back when the kits were cheap and flowing like water. They are the same year and have 3 digit serial #’s. I used matching serial # NDS1 receivers and Ironwood designs laminate stock sets. they were unfired kits so I was hopeful I could get away without refinishing the barrel assemblies. But after spending all that time on the wood, that crappy Romanian park job just isn’t going to cut it. so the next project is to run them back down to the shop for some polishing, parkerizing and a coat of KG.

G.I. Synthetic stock painted with Krylon Camo paint. Bought it for hunting. I've got the wood one stored away.

I always love these pic threads. Great firearms here for sure. Waiting on my Del-Ton kit still, I'll post pics when I get it and assemble the rifle..

Blacksmith, those are some fine looking weapons.
Ironwood is hard to beat for looks. I had a laminate set on a MAADI and loved them.

    Here's a couple of mine.

There's no problem an AK can't solve...........

    Thanks.

I try to keep most of my builds as authentic as legally possible. But with Those two I’m just trying to make them as pretty as an AKM can be.

Here’s a few of my more authentic builds.

    BTW nice beretta!

    OK, I'll play.

Just a teaser. These are just my '74s. L-R: Bulgy AKS 74U & AK 74, no-shit Russian AK 74S, Polak wbz 88 Tantal, and single digit SN SAR 2.

How do you compromise with someone when their idea of compromise is to give them what THEY want?

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I picked it up at a gunshow maybe 15 years ago. This one looks like the one I have: here

The reviews seem to be overly critical of it, like they are expecting something to be perfect w/o scratching the barrel. I like it because after you've burned through a few magazines, you won't get burned, it does what it is supposed to do. Purely functional in my book, and cheap.
