Ruger Gunsiite Scout Rifle

Anybody bought, handled, or shot Ruger's Gunsite Scout Rifle? I'm really digging the idea of it. I could get a Savage Scout lots cheaper, but would have to pay to have the barrel cut and threaded for the flash-hider, and then there's spare mag costs/lack of 10 round mags...

Any thoughts or ideas?
