    ok yet another opinions thread 308 savage mod 11

    passed on the remmy 798 ,the savage has no accutrigger ,will a SSS trigger work ,again id be selling my 110 w/ accutrigger to finance this for ammo compatability issues TIA..oh yeah the mod 11 is 375

    blobman, are you sure the Model 11 is chambered in .375? Typically a Savage Model 11 is a short-action rifle chambered in .308 Win. length cartridges or shorter.

    Again, not to be a dink, but why not rebarrel the .30-06 to .308?

    sorry,the mod 11 is 375 DOLLARS,amybe a rebarreling is t he way to go.any suggestions /prices there

    Well you ca buy a .308 ER Shaw barrel from Numrich for $153 and then find the action wrench and go/no-go gauges, or at Brownells there is a kit which contains the barrel and all tools/parts needed for $200. This way you can keep your accutrigger too.
